Uhhh..?

It was definately an original piece, but nearly everything in it was out of place and sounded like somebody screaming while launching feces into the toilet... Um don't ask me how I came up with that analogy. Anyhow, I'm assuming by the way you described it, that it's old, and didn't have much work put into it, either way, you can probably learn a lot about what NOT to do with your future music through this. 2up :(

Wightraven responds:

Heh. An updated version of one of my oooooold pieces. I think the third song I did. It is, however, the first non-crap one. My original two will never see the light of day, unless I become some sort of cult icon or something... so yeah, never see the light of day.

Hah, pretty good!

Yeah, I haven't got much critiquing to give to this because I haven't heard the original Excorcist theme, and even if it sounded nothing like the original, it still sounded pretty awesome. I took points off for originality because obviously, it's a remix. 5up!

Hah, you've had some material stored up, eh?

Yeah, this is obviously the previous version of the song you uploaded previous to this one. Refer back to that review, since you put more work into that one, and any critiquing I gave on this would have been put to use in your remix. 4up!

Wow, normally I'm not into calm stuff but...

I really enjoyed listening to this! The calm intro ushered in the rest of the song masterfully, and the beat was great, along with the use of your synths, and the composition of your song! It kinda sounds like it would fit PERFECTLY into the credits of a Sonic game or something, even! 5up!

Herrrm... Mustn't... Let... Brain... Escape...!!

OK, well, as V-M stated, this unfortunately wasn't that great, but you don't seem to be them most experienced artist on NG; Keep trying, listen to other peoples' stuff so you can get ideas, and then expand upon them. Not more else I can say because until you mature a little more in your artistic abilities, you're not gonna get the greatest feedback. 2up :(.

Sincerely,
Actually... I gotta go run away now, my brain just gave me the finger and ran out the back door, away from my computer speakers.

I liked this!

The guitar riffs were cool, if not slightly repetative, the drums were OK, until you brought in the symbols; the sound bites were funny, but slightly out of place, you could definately do something creative with this song if you opened it up once more and just looked at it for a while... thought about it, and thought about how maybe you could break certain parts out of the loop. Music for the most part does have a looping rhythm or repeated chorus type thing, and that's OK, but at the same time you want to quirk parts in and out of the loop to hold interest and artistic value. Anyhow, I'm giving you 4up, I'll be watching.

Wightraven responds:

I appreciate the kind criticism. Once I obtain Fruity Loops again I'll be sure to take your advice into account and try to carve out something more masterful. I made this song in-between my first album and my second, so it's got the best (and worst) of both worlds in it.

Uhhh, righty XD!

OK, well, as far as the song goes, it wasn't bad; although at the same time I kinda get the feeling that just by saying that I'm falling for some stupid kinda joke. The guitars were cool, the samples were not. The beat and drums were also cool, but the title of the song was not. Also, this isn't really any kind of core, it's closer to what you labeled it as, Industrial. I'm going to give you 4up, only because by the way you titled it, and with the sound bites I get the feeling that it was actually some kinda condiscending joke against metal or hardcore (not dance-hardcore).

Wightraven responds:

Thanks for the clarification. Industrial is one of those musics that seems to have a broader field than others, and I know a lot of people like to be specific. Back when I made this song (about a year ago, I think) my mates and I were way into repetition in music. "Mass production" and all that. This is honestly a remix of one of my earlier works, and I'm aware it's not that stellar, but some of my more preferred stuff is too large, and alas I no longer have the program with which to edit it.

This was great! But I wouldn't exactly call it HC

It was supurbly played, great beat, and awesome guitars. I loved it. However, I'm a "hardcore kid", or whatever, and I spend about 90% of my time writing, listening to, and trying to find more Hardcore, or subcategories of. This didn't sound much like hardcore in my oppinion, at least not until the end; I'd try to describe what I mean a little more vividly, but that would just discredit this track, and I have no intention of doing that, becuase the effort you put into this shows, and it sounds awesome. 5up!

peace bro

One line summary?! For THIS?! Impossible.

Reading your VIEWTIFUL reviews that you give to others has always been pretty cool, seeing as you are, in my oppinion, a fair reviewer; and then finding out that you actually MADE music as well, oh man, I HAD to come over here and check it out; and what did I find, you ask? Viewtiful Brain Ass-Kickery! Normally I'm not much into D'n'B, but you got me with this one. I haven't much critiquing to give except that I would love a longer version... I should probably turn this off now seeing as it's 11pm XD...

Maybe...

in a little bit...

Viewtiful-Masta responds:

Thanks man for the Viewtiful review! It's true I do give every one a good reviews even if they give me bad reviews. I just don't think its fair for the other people to go down so fast. I think that every one deserves a chance to be numero uno! Thanks for the review though! It was how you say VIEWTIFUL! It seems like that now that im starting to use term Viewtiful every one is starting to use it!

DUDE! YES!!!

I have not heard this much music from you this frequently. Ever. Dude. I am DOWNLOADING!!! This is NOT leaving my playlist. I honestly can't tell what it's supposed to be ("SA" kinda makes me think Sonic Adventure, or Sonic Advance, I'm probably wrong though; but if it were Sonic Adventure or Advance I wouldn't be able to recognize it because Sega really started to gay up their music after the Genesis, but it doesn't matter what it is, if you're making it, then it sounds GREAT!) My 5 is ALL yours, in fact all my 5's are yours, I've never given you less, you rock so much!

Sincerely,
A Random NG User... maybe... I might be losing randomness at this point. Oh well.
