DUDE!! CAN YOU HEAR THAT BASS?!!?

THIS BOY PLAYS HIS OWN SAXAPHONE TOO!! OMG!! IT'S SO MASTURFUL!! *seizes and foams at the mouth*

ZombiePosessor responds:

Heh. Yes I do. Calm down, Beavis. Uh huh huh huh.

Dude, seriously, wow.

Same review as the previous BoF3 track, brings me right back to the place in the game as young Ryu where I'm totally starting to freak out and go, "WTF!! I LOVE THIS!!! SO MUCH!!!" 5up!

ZombiePosessor responds:

Sweet, I'm glad it does that to you

Seriously people. BoF. Go buy it.

Seriously people, BoF, buy it, give Capcom a reason to stop making shitty-ass games. This sounds exactly like the overworld theme... which makes me want to cry, that game was so beautiful... Final Fantasy stands not nearly as tall as the grace of Breath of Fire... And the fact that you play most of your instruments makes it THAT much more amazing... I think I'm gonna go shit my pants now, excuse me. F-F-F-F-F-F-5UPAGE!

Sincerely,
Er... echo?...echo...echo..ec..

ZombiePosessor responds:

haha, sweeet. BoF IS good, I think it seriously rivals final fantasy. Except for BoF5, that game sucked the hair off my balls.

it's not THAT bad

you may say that it isn't that great, but in my oppinion there is MUCH worse out there, this song keeps my attention, and swings me in the right direction (ARG RHYME! >.<) 5up!

Nice!

Bowser's theme in quite the heavy metal scheme, have you heard ZombiePossessor's version of this? Either way, off topic; And then good ol' classic (I believe Donut Plains? I'm probably wrong, it's been a while)! Great combination to test out the very distinct new instruments you used, LOUD and distinct, I like loud, but at times it also sounded like you might've been capping out, or it may have just been how the guitar sounded naturally, other than that it was REALLY clear and the drums sounded crisp! Not much else I could say to critique, so, 5up!

Sincerely,
The *sniff* guy y-you... *tear* CARE ABOUT?!?! *happy face*

OooooooOOOOOOoooooo

Wow, you continue to use a very unique blend of old Sega-sounding synths (I think they're synths O.o;;) with other very awesome sounds that I can't quite isolate and identify in my brain to create a montage of awesomeness! Hah, even more ironic, I was born and raised in Tucson, and just recently moved out of Arizona, but I'm coming back as soon as I can!! XD Just thought I'd throw that out, not like you know me or anything.

HAH! WOW!

Geeze man! That was definately an awakening! I was just about to start listening to Dischord because the intro was getting repetative, then all of a sudden another line comes into your tune, and I'm like, "OMG SONIC!!" and then the song continues and I'm like, "OMG SONIC RUNNING FOR HIS LIFE!!" and then it continues, "OMG SONIC BECOMES NEO AND KICKS ASS!!!" Not to disgrace you by compairing your music to something like the Matrix (it didn't sound anything like the matrix, either, which isn't a bad thing) but it had such a unique blend of things that I can't think of any other way to put it into words. 5up!

So get finished having a braingasm to this when...

I downloaded this. And if/when I get some kind of portable MP3 device this is going straight on it. It's kinda ironic, you title it "Melancholy Complacency", yet I find it extremely joyous and bouncy; was that your intention, to make it seem kinda ironic in that way, or is it in some way that I'm missing melancholy to you? Or something? Either way, I don't have much critique to give, because this is definately some of the top-grade material on the Audio Portal. 5up!

ARRGG... You got MEH!

I was just about to stop listening to this and move on, when you brought in the bells; I am EXTREMELY partial to bells and music boxes, and I absolutely LOVE what you did with them... and then the song fades out... and I start crying because I wasn't done listening to them yet. That's probably the best critique I have to give you, work on proper song form and structure; you build in your intro masterfully, and then the body of your song sounds perfect, and you even progress the song with some building emphasis and power, but then you don't bring the song to a climax, and then you leave no conclusion/outro, so we just kinda have a premature ejaculation in our brains when the fadeout comes, and we're like, "Awwww... I wanted more..." *sad face* because our brains hadn't been properly disengaged from the song! Anyhow, hope that made sense, 5up for YOU!

Petwoip responds:

No, I care about you and the great review you gave me. It made perfect sense to me. At the time when I made this song, I was obsessed with fades, so I never really created much of a climax. I will try to make my future songs to have something like that.

I'm happy you wanted more :), i guess you liked it a lot. Thnaks for reviewing.

And thanks for the 5!

Wow, this is definately unique

I liked the way you set up all your synths, pads, and drums; The only critique I have for you is that in between tunes there seemed to be some a lot of empty air, which kinda made the song seem impotent; maybe make the song even more dynamic with more harmonies, or something to blend things in between your drums and synth/pad tunes.

When good things pay off twice as bad later, the only effective resort is to sacrifice any and all comfort to eliminate all discomfort.
